Help people in Ukraine
More than one million people — mostly women and children — have been forced to flee Ukraine. They are sheltering in underground train stations, walking hundreds of miles and leaving behind everything they’ve ever known. A network of churches in Ukraine is scaling its response to provide assistance and ensure those displaced find safety in welcoming arms in this moment of crisis.
Three Angels Underground
Two days into the Russian attacks, 7 Pastors in Kiev had the opportunity to escape the city along with many others, but instead, they chose to stay and help people who they knew would need help to escape. Since then, they have been diligently operating an organized escape route for refugees out of the battle areas to safety. This route includes helping the refugees escape the battleground areas, feeding them and giving them shelter and clothing as they travel to the borders to escape. This underground mission of pastors and their wives are bringing residents of Kiev trapped in the subway stations with no food, water or bathroom access out and into their underground shelters to get food and start their path out of Kiev.
The way out of Kiev is very treacherous. Traffic jams and shelling turn what would normally be an 8 hour ride into a several days journey. The churches in other cities receive these refugees and house them, providing them food and other necessities. Many of these churches are reporting that their food supplies are running out. The shelves in the supermarkets in Kiev are empty. The only way to get food to these refugees is to purchase it at the border towns and transfer them in cars to the cities in central Ukraine. This is why the brave leaders of this mission are needing money to purchase food, gas, and other necessities to deliver them to those whose lives are in danger. Also, since food and gas are becoming scarer commodities right now, they have become even more experience than they normally would be.
We are seeking to raise $12,000 IMMEDIATELY because the underground Team is extremely limited on TIME to be able to obtain the food and gas they need. We deeply appreciate any amount you can give. We are calling this Mission the Three Angels Underground because we cannot give any details about who these people are or where they are located.
